I'm Back!!! Well, at least for the weekend...:P can't believe how much i missed civilization...the sounds of cars, people, flick of a switch, the sound of a flushing toilet...haha. So busy today, washed all of my laundry, aired my sleeping bag, cleaned my room...well a little, talked to Andrew...so jealous that he gets to go to P.E.I. w/ Scott and i don't...just windsurfing all week, went to Elana's b-day party, watched T-3, and am going to be sleeping soon. I had an awesome time at the first camp...my assigned unit girls were so sweet to me. They wrote me warm fuzzies (caring notes) and told me that they really loved me and stuff...they were all crying when they boarded the bus back to Ottawa today...sigh...i'm gonna miss them...but now i will be assigned a new unit, another fresh start :) Waterfront is so cool, i prolly do like 3 hrs of work each day, the food there is amazing...i honestly have gained 5 lbs., the sun there has been very hot...i have officially turned brown...errr...anyways i should go to bed now...have a doctor's appt tom morn. and i still have lots to do b/f i go back to camp on Mon.

Not bad sermon today by the special speaker at the MET...can you believe that we had our Sunday school class outside of the church on the grass? Ewww, bugs...haha, guess what i bought today... THE Multi-bug Killer...hahahaha...die bugs die! :P It's amazing, and i know i'm gonna love it when i go to camp...it kills flies, mosquitos, fleas, flying moths, gnats, spiders, bedbugs *shiver*, sow bugs, carpet beetles, centipedes, aphids, leafhoppers, ants, silverfish, and wasps. :P Too bad they couldn't include horseflies...now where is that other aerosol spray? *laugh*...ahhh, peace...>< only problem is that the spray kinda needs to directly hit the insect...haha, my aim isn't too bad now is it?;P Got some of my grad pics developed today, not bad...:D Hrmmm, i'll frame this one, and this one, and this one...;P Also had a surprise babysitting job today...my neighbor's daughter'S are SO cute, the older one...i think she's about 2 something now...she can actually say my name! Be-nay-ta...laugh...not the best pronunciation, but hey, it's better than some of the other abbreviations of my name that i have heard before. ;P Anyways...toodleloos...

*sigh* another week of summer gone by...Well, yesterday my family went to see Bugs Bunny on Broadway at the NAC, not bad, pretty cool...while the orchestra was playing the looney tunes music and stuff, there was this big projector screen playing the cartoon that went along with it. My goodness, i seriously had almost forgotten all those lovely cartoon shows that i used to watch on Sat. morn...>< so old now. There were characters like Bugs bunny, Daffy Duck, Road Runner, Tweety, Pepe le Pew, L.E. Coyote, Elmer Fudd, and so many more. :P I kinda felt out of place though b/c people had actually dressed up to go watch the show...haha, and our family kinda went in wearing jeans and stuff, what a contrast. Today i finally got my hair cut...ahhh! ;P Originally i was planning on going out to a hairdresser to cut my hair, but they like overcharge! $18-25 for a haircut?!?!? Woah, i could prolly spend that money to buy a new t-shirt or something. :P So i decided to risk it w/ my dear mommy cutting my hair. *laugh* i thought she was sO funny...she was kinda scared to cut my hair b/c i said that if i didn't like my hair at the end, i wouldn't ever ask her to cut my hair again...*smiles* i don't think she wanted that...so she repeatedly asked me if my hair looked alright every 10 min just to make sure i approved ;P *laugh* Not bad, not bad...it'll grow out ;P j/k. Then i went to the art gallery w/ Monica...if you ever need some exercise, go walk around a million exhibits...we like walked around for 2 hours then went to Rideau centre and Byward market and walked around there for another 45 min fun stuff. Next week i might go swimming...miss the water :), and hopefully might be able to go to Meech lake and spend some quality time w/ my 'special friend' *LOL**wink* ;P Anyways...finished Unnatural exposure...on to The Southern Cross...

*woah* this has certainly been an interesting week so far...:P so much things to do, so little time to blog...haha...not...just lazy i guess. ANYWAY, my week so far...been doing things around the house, cleaning, packing for camp, filling things out for Queen's and starting to pack also...well, things i Want to pack ;P Shira came by on her day off from camp and came to drop a grad present...so thoughtful of her. It's a very nice photo album w/ pics of us and our friends at our grad ceremony and prom. Haha, i wish i knew this blog and how to work this web stuff more so i can put up some of my pics...*laugh* Andrea, where art thou Andrea? :D Did some camp shopping today, got a new pair of sunglasses and a cap that i actually Want to wear...Just a thought, mabbe i should get some of my grad photos developed soon, i want to see how they turned out. Finally mustered up the guts to talk to one of Scott's friends today...laugh, who was a complete stranger to me until today mind you. It was a totally awesome conversation, and i am really REALLY glad i got a chance to talk to him. Seriously, i believe God's hand is in this, and i hope this is all according to His Plan. We just struck off right away although i was nervous at the beginning, i explained my reasons for calling him and stuff, *sigh* it was great...haha...i should be more...never mind :P The book i'm right now reading from Patricia Cornwell is really interesting...it's called Unnatural Exposure...very VERY cool stuff, she writes stories like CSI, :P i have learned so much about the different names of body parts (cuz the main character is a medical examiner- examines dead bodies), and all the different kinds of cool and cruel bullets that exist in this world. SO interesting...*smiles* serious! :P Over the past few days i have been watching over my ex-music teacher's cat named Vanilla, who is very cute. Yesterday was my last day babysitting him. I stayed at their house for like an extra half hour because he fell asleep in my arms...literally, so adorable...couldn't stand to leave him just yet. Haha...he's the most silly cat i have ever met, he likes to slide across the floor using his hind legs and reach forward with his front paws while on his side trying to get closer to you. He also has a very interesting tail, apparently it only occurs in about 1 in ten thousand or something, but his tail is bent backwards, so whenever his tail is relaxed, it kinda rests on his back. Taped a movie for my bro yesterday called the Replacement Killers, interesting if not somewhat entertaining movie starring Chow-Yun-Fat, Mira Sorvino and some other ppl...apparently it was the first North American movie made for Chow-Yun-Fat, and it holds the record for having the most bullets ever used in a movie ;) Anyways, i want to get back to my book...

Not a bad week...didn't do much, but that's okie w/ me...no more luxuries in one week...egad, how am i going to survive camp? Mark my words...just one bug bite...the whole mosquito population will die the next day...at least at the camp...heh heh ><. Weird weather lately...esp. on Canada day, went out w/ family and walked around and listened to the NAC concert. Had a sleepoever...very fun ^^, saw Spiderman 2...okay la...and yeah...Thanks Lord for everything, You are my King, and i am honoured to serve You.
