Gah...can't believe it's almost the wkend already...woah...time is really flying by fast O.o Lol...can't keep up...haha, need those rollerblades =P Well...lemme see...what's been going on lately...almost finished work...bout one more wk left :O Yeah...i'm really thankful that God gave me this job...answered prayers! ^^ It has certainly opened my eyes to what happens out in the workplace and made me more aware of the world and what it has become. The knowledge coming out of the job is gonna really come in handy this semester...hehe, geriatrics =P Lol, saying "m'dear" has definitely become more comfy for me XD Haha...also talking to the residents has brought up interesting and funny ques/ comments =P "are u a model?" "are u mixed?" "i didn't know that chinese ppl could speak french =P" "do u hv children?" NO O.o...then, "are u married?" no...which leads to..."do u hv a bf?" no...."no, why don't u hv a bf?" =='''' ermm...b/c i hvn't found one yet..."but there are so many boys out there" lol...i uno. Then there's also "i love u honey, but i know u don't love me back...so i'll just hold onto u for now" Hahaha...oh dear =P Oh man...old residents are quite the ppl...haha...and they know they can get away w/ things =P
Past few wks hv mostly been work w/ a lil bit of fun here and there =) Went to Mt. Tremblant for a wkend w/ family and aquila fellowship which was fun and relaxing. It was just really nice to just sit and enjoy the view and hv fun w/ family and friends ^^ Then there's girls cell grp...which is always a good thing to go out to. The book that we've been studying is interesting...they've brought up some diff subjects and stuff that i wouldn't hv really thought of. I think it'd be interesting if i also read "wild at heart"...the other book written by the same author as the bk that the girls are studying (captivating). Teehee...which reminds me...pooky, i really wanna borrow ur HP book...pretty please?? =P
Also been babysitting the dahlings next door. They are the sweetest things ^^ I love it when they kiss and hug me like i'm part of their family =) The complete and honest trust they hv in me...it's so pure =P I can still remember when they were younger...and trying to instill some of Christ in their lives...teehee...by singing praise songs and telling them Bible stories to them as they fall asleep and stuff =) And i'm really happy that we all pray b/f we eat also. I really hope that God has a place for me in their hearts, and that i'll be of some influence in their lives as they grow older ^^ The way the youngest one comes running into ur arms, hugs ur legs, and grabs a fistful of ur hair to hold onto...and when the oldest grabs ur legs and looks up to u and says "i love u"...*sighhh* it just makes ur heart melt =P
Also went to karl's farewell party at honest lawyers...fun times ^^ Lol...somehow my purse and cell went around >_>...haha, sanitizer! Mmm...i had a lovely dinner...this salmon tortilla wrap thing...ahh, delicious. Teehee...hvn't had smoked salmon in a long time...so it tasted uber good =) Was able to see squishie for a short time also...sigh, i Really miss u O.o. I'll make an extra effort to see u again b/f i leave =) Went bowling w/ elijah the other night...lol, let's just say that i've figured out what i kinda need to know to play better...=P and i still wanna try playing w/ my left hand...cuz it's my strong hand. Saw monica after she came back fr/ her missions trip to montreal...nice to meet up w/ her again and to hear bout her experiences.
Went out to play pool w/ gooberhead tonight...awesome time ^^ Haha...lotsa laughs...gd games =P We shall play again sometime ^^ We need to hang out more often also! Will try to make it out for some of the last rollerhocky games b/f school starts. Sat going to jas's bday party in orleans =P Haha...dinner at kelseys then bowling once more! XD Reminds me...need to get pressie! Need to see andrewww...soonnnn. Need to see squishieeee...soonnnn. Going to recert CPR-C and first aid soon also...need to do that again b/f school starts XP.
Spiritual life has been kinda blah lately...i can say that God answers prayers...and that i'm very hungry for more of His Word =P I want/ need to hv more of You. You alone satisfy all of my needs...You alone i give praise to...You alone deserve everything...You alone deserve my time and energy...You alone are my God.
