hahaha...our house family Christmas tree =P
It's yr 2006...lol, wow...bout 2 decades now XP. I have much to be thankful for...and looking back...i just hv to restate that God is good. I would say that i've matured the most spiritually...and i'm incredibly blessed to hv been given the oppurtunity to study at queens and meet the ppl that i know. *smiles* everything has a reason =). Being a prayer leader w/ sar has just fortified my prayer life..and shown me how to lead and solidify the power and importance of prayer =) Thanks so much sar...love u my fellow nursie =). Thanks to joycee poo for giving me the shove in the right direction...i needed it =P. Now i hv the oppurtunity to grow in leading Bible studies at winter retreat for ccf...*wow*...lol, i'm psyched. Hahaha...growing pains =P. I love my fellow housies...each one has affected me in some way...made me more observant, patient, understanding, and alot of other things. I hv SO much fun w/ my housies =) Hahaha...our random moments...our tallys...our family away fr/ home. My family has been just totally awesome...their prayers and talks will be forever etched in my memories...i know i'm incredibly blessed to hv parents that would sacrifice so much for their children...fr/ enrolling them in private school, moving to another part of the city to provide a better school so that they'll get a better education, for allowing the whole family to experience life out canada in australia, to sacrificing time and energy to provide the best secondary education options...so much love and sacrifice involved...forever indebt...lol, i will do the same for my own =P Hahaha...that's if i even get my own XP. Neways, my lil bro is awesome...i miss him...to be able to basically divulge ur whole life to another person and hv them love u the same...for me to pass down what wisdom i hv =P...to share the sibling bond...to pray together and help each other thru our struggles...wow =).
MMmm...so new semester...and i hv to say...i love it so far =P Hahaha...for many reasons ;P. Clinicals are AMAZING...lol, did i tell u how amazing they are? It's almost completely different fr/ working in a long term care centre...Everything's kinda gogogogo...need to get things done...always smthg to do...always seeing new things...always learning new things...SO FUN!!! Teehee...and my clinical instructor is so nice...it helps to know that she's a queen's nursing grad...and that she knows what we're going thru. There is never a stoopid question...only silly ones =D. My other courses are alright...developmental psyc is pretty interesting...community nursing is kinda like nurs209...hahahaha XP. Pharmacology is going to be interesting...sigh, 70% final...but it'll be fun...haha, we hv new faces now...lol, not only nurses in the class...but also xray and rt ppl =D. Yay. Our house is staying together again for another yr...should be fun =) Hahaha...okay, we're so impulsive...on tues steph, carolyn and me went to loblaws...and they were hving like a Christmas sale..and guess what we brought home!? Lol...as Christmas tree!! Hahaha...the thing is so small..but so puurtty =P Okay, we're such freaks...the tree is like small and we had to keep putting on the ornaments and stuff cuz they kept on falling off and yeah...we tried to basically put all the ornaments on one side of the tree...hahaha, cuz the other side was going to face the wall!! What can i say? Lol...the tree fell down so many times ==''''. Then we had the bright idea to put the tree on the ledge where carolyn had sat on b/f...on top of the stairs...BUT the lights weren't long enough to plug into the nearest outlet...so we kinda got an extension cord and i pulled out two powerbars that i had in my room...looked SO ghetto...lol, and basically we tried to put it on the ledge and stuff..but the cords and stuff...it like pulled the tree back down...and almost hit the stairs...OMGOSH...we screamed...WE SCREAMED...for the lil puny Christmas tree...Lol, so much effort to show off our lil tree...Hahaha...so now it's on our kitchen cupboard...lol, and occassionally we're putting it on the ledge w/out adding all those extension cords XP Then this sun we're hving a frosh dinner...hahaha, so that'll be fun...cooking together for the frosh =P Teehee...i'm in charge of cooking the ribs...yessss...i love ribs =P Hahaha...oh yeah...i'm starting to go back to the gym now...lol, all ready for the gym tom...i better go!! Grrr...all that effort to shave XP.
Lol...neways, looking forward to the new yr...it will only get better fr/ here...w/ God all things are possible =)
*laughs* and i've promised mil that i would do the tag thing...so here it is =P
The Rules
The first player of this game starts with the topic "My Five Favorite Bible Verses" and people who get tagged have to write a blog entry about their 5 favorite bible verses, as well as set the rules clearly. At the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list them in your entry. Don't forget to leave them comments to tell them you tagged them and to read your site to see the details.
My Five Favorite Bible Verses:
1. Phil 1:20-21. "I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is to gain."
2. Hebrews 13:8. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." NLT
3. Phil 4:13. "I am ready for anything through the strength of the One who lives within me." PHILLIPS
4. Psalm 27:4. "The one thing I ask of the Lord the thing I seek most is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life." NLT
5. Matt 6:33-34. "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
